March 1st, 2009. We’re back from Amsterdam! The
screening and concert were a huge hit; a big, wild crowd,
lots of press, and tons of fun. Big thanks to the guys at

January 21st, 2009. Nerdcore For Life is getting
another Chicagoland screening, this time as part of the
Lake County Film Festival in Libertyville. More info on
their website and our screenings page.
November 17th, 2008::: HUGE NEWS!! Our
European Premiere is set!! It will take place on February
26th, 2009 in AMSTERDAM! Not only will there be a
screening but there will be live performances afterwards
by FOUR of the stars or film, Beefy, MC Router,
Ytrcracker, and MC Lars!! Lots more info here on the

November 10th, 2008::: We got a small but special mention in

October 6th, 2008::: The Chicago screening went great. Take
a look at the huge plug the event got in the Chicago Red Eye and
click here to listen to me (Dan, the director) talk about the film
on the Chicago Public Radio show, Eight Forty-Eight.
September 10th, 2008::: The Chicago screening of Nerdcore
For Life is on for October 5th at Reggie's Music Joint. Check
the blog for all the specifics.
September 9th, 2008::: The 2008 Tucson Film and Music
Festival has announced that Nerdcore For Life has been
selected as their closing night film. Not only that, the fest is
throwing a closing night party that will feature artists from the
film. Should be a fantastic night. Full line-up coming soon.
August 28th, 2008::: Nerdcore for Life is heading to the Big
Easy! The documentary has been accepted 19th annual New
Orleans film fest. More info on our blog.
August 8th, 2008::: We're thrilled to announce that Nerdcore
For Life will be screening at this year's Penny Arcade Expo in
Seattle! Full details are on their schedule.

July 14th, 2008::: The San Francisco Frozen Film Festival
was our best screening yet! We won the award for "Best Music
Documentary," the crowd at the screening was huge and the
after-party was amazing. The full re-cap is on the blog. Big
thanks to the festival for hosting us and to artists that attended
and performed; Doc Pop, All About George, CK, Nomad and
MC Lars. A video recap of the entire event is on-line here.

Nerdcore and geek culture on the nationally syndicated
Wisconsin Public Radio show, To The Best of Our Knowledge.

is hosting two screenings of Nerdcore For Life and an after-
party which will feature performances by Beefy, Ultraklystron
and Ytcracker! More info here.

started to appear on-line and they are really fantastic. Links are

really cool piece about the film that ran in the Madison edition of

The theater was packed and everyone seemed to love the film.
Big thanks to all the crew members and Nerdcore artists that
came out and extra special thanks to the Wisconsin Film Festival

Nerdcore For Life will be making its world premiere at the 10th
annual Wisconsin Film Festival on April 5th. Tickets to the
screening at the 199-seat Bartell theater are already sold out!
